Announcing… the winners of the 2024 OTW Photo Contest!
Our annual photo contest brings us the best [photos] of the best [barricades] from the best [customers]… (that’s you!)
We love to see our barricades in action, and we were blown away by the highest number of submissions ever in OTW photo contest history. Submissions poured in, and we had such a difficult time deciding on the winners of this year’s contest… because, honestly, all OTW customers are the best.
As with each year, we focused on two categories to really be able to sift through our favorite photos of YOUR barricades hard at work. This year, we separated entries into Crowd Control and Airport, Construction, & Traffic.
Crowd Control
Participants were asked to send us their best photos of the incredible Billboard Barricade in use at restaurants, events, schools/universities, and more!
Airport, Construction, & Traffic
Participants were asked to send us their best photos of any of our stellar airport, construction, or traffic barricades (like the 42” Jersey Shape LCD) in action at their respective locales.
And drumroll, please…
We’re happy to announce this year’s winners:
For the Crowd Control Category, Austin B. with the Billboard Barricade in purple (with custom team signage) for the College of Idaho Yotes basketball game.
Not only do the vibrant sports barricades keep standing spectators separate and safe from the active playing court, but the custom signage spelling “YOTES” is one of the most innovative displays of team spirit we’ve seen our barricades used for.
From our winner: “Thank you for reaching out! We’ve received a number of compliments on the barricades and we’re looking forward to getting more. It’s helped us promote our teams and they’ve helped create some awesome content. They have been a hit at our basketball games in helping manage our rowdy student section and the lightweight plastic build allows us to easily maneuver them in and out of place.”
For the Airport, Construction, & Traffic Category, Jeremiah H. with a beautiful lineup of the AR10x96 Low Profile Barricade across a runway, clearly indicating that that section of the runway is under construction.
From the winner: “As far as a little bit of context about what we’re using your safety products for, we are working at the Dothan Regional Airport in Dothan, Alabama, on a three-phase rehabilitation project on the main runway. This will include over 29,000 yards of asphalt milling and nearly 30,000 tons of asphalt. The safety materials we ordered from OTW are being used to block off active sections of the runway during our construction phases to keep aircraft from entering our work zone.”

An honorable mention goes to our runners-up:
Tyler G. with yellow Billboard Barricades and the new Alta Light (available for rent with our Utah Barricade Event Rental)
Joe C. with the 10” low-profile airport barricade showcases the interlocking construction barricades, carefully delineating an easily visible perimeter to notify personnel that the zone is potentially hazardous. Thanks to the added airport hazard lights, the barricades will indicate an active zone day or night.
Our team wishes every photo could have won, and we thank you for your excellent submissions.
Congratulations to our winners!
