2023 – Wrapping up another incredible year!
2023 was a great year for OTW – not only for our team but for the safety industry as a whole.
Thank you for making our favorite moments this year possible, for being a part of the OTW community, and for continuing to support your favorite safety barricade business.
Let’s take a look back at this year and see what we’ve accomplished together, before we jump into 2024
Airport safety products remain our best-sellers
We supplied airport products across the globe this year, and we’re excited to share how airports near and far put their airport safety equipment to use.
Airports across 44 US states and 2 US territories (Guam and Puerto Rico) chose OTW barricades and hazard lights to help keep their pilots, employees, and guests safe as they navigate the skies and the runways.
Internationally, South Korea, Canada, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Japan did the same, counting in at 16 of our 171 total orders of airport safety products shipped around the world.
That’s a lot of airports dedicated to improving their safety!
We continued to support our community and give back through sponsoring events and venues in Utah and beyond
OTW is proud to partner with organizations across the country and we were privileged to sponsor many events throughout 2023.
As always, we remain committed to supporting our community, and, in 2023, we did that in part by sponsoring these events with crowd control barricades in the Greater Salt Lake Area:
- Granary Live – Read more about this sponsorship here
- Lonestar Saloon – Catch our YouTube short here
- Food Truck Face Off – Don’t miss the video recap here
- Utah Valley Parade of Homes

Last year, we sponsored our very first out-of-state events: the Special Olympics Airlift in Orlando, FL, and Metcon Rush in Hagerstown, MD! They were a trial run to see if we could manage more out-of-state sponsorships, and we are happy to report that this year we added 7 more to that list!
You could find OTW barricades and signage at:

Our dedication to learning and innovation remains
One strategy that we implement to discover ways in which we can better serve our customers is visiting sites of those who have chosen OTW barricades. We spend time on site, discussing with our customers how the products are working for them, as well as digging deeper and asking what might improve their experience with our barricades for their application.
This year we visited 5 places who partnered with OTW for their barricading needs:
- The City of Santa Clarita, California
- Long Beach State University of California
- University High School in Irvine School District, California
- City of Glendale, California
- World Equestrian Center, Wilmington OH
We were also able to attend a number of conferences this year. Seeing our safety equipment in action helps us continue to improve and brainstorm for the future and consistently provide you with the best safety products on the market.
Among the conferences were:
- FestForums: Convention for Festival Planners (Feb. 2023)
- Sponsorship Mastery Summit (Sept. 2023)
- Utah Transportation Conference (Oct. 2023)
Not only did we visit sites and attend events, but our team spent a full day revisiting the rotational molding process and walked through each step of the LCD’s (Longitudinal Channelizing Device) creation in person. This allowed us to finetune how each barricade is created (in-house!) and gives us the opportunity to expand on the product and process knowledge to better serve you!
That’s a wrap on 2023 safety!
This year, hundreds of tried-and-true customers and 251 new customers chose OTW to provide them with quality safety products! We are grateful every time someone chooses OTW for their safety needs and we don’t take the honor lightly.
We also added 6 dedicated members to our team who are ready to do their part in bringing awareness to the importance of safety and making it a priority for all.
OTW Safety is dedicated to creating quality products that enhance and strengthen public safety and we are honored to partner with YOU to do so.
Thank you for being a part of the OTW community and walking alongside us in our pursuit of building relationships across the safety community, all the while contributing to the well-being and peace of mind of workers, business owners, and those invested in the safety of others.
