Turns 90 Degrees

While other barricade systems require expensive attachments or dedicated corner pieces to create a 90° turn, the OTW 32×72 does it with just two barricades and the standard interlocking pin. Any two units can swing through a full 180° range of motion, making it easy to create 90° corners, curves, continuous lines, and complete site enclosures without additional hardware.

The OTW 32×72 was thoughtfully designed to perform as well as it looks. Its streamlined design is simple, versatile, and compatible with a range of accessories, giving crews the flexibility to configure each setup around the needs of the jobsite.

Applications

Site perimeter and security. Construction site perimeters, temporary and semi-permanent; laydown yards and staging areas; restricted and equipment areas; secure private enclosures with fence panels; phased campus and data center builds; substation and utility yard perimeters. The 90° corner capability means one product encloses a site completely – corners, gates, and straight runs from the same inventory.

Traffic and equipment channelization. Low-speed construction zones and lane delineation; temporary internal haul routes; channelized lanes for forklifts, trucks, and equipment; site entrances and access points; parking control and vehicle staging. OSHA’s powered industrial truck guidance calls for separating pedestrians from lift-truck traffic with walkways and protective barriers – a continuous, interlocked line of 820-pound ballasted units draws that separation in a way cones and drums cannot.

Pedestrian safety. Pedestrian channelization and separation from work areas; walkway routing around active work; crowd management and queue control; stadium, campus, and venue perimeters. Where longitudinal channelizing devices are used for pedestrian traffic control, the MUTCD requires them to be interlocked, with no gaps that allow pedestrians to stray from the channelized path – the OTW 32x72s pinned connection forms that continuous, gap-free line by design.
