Safety Delineators – Orange Cone Alternative

The AR3 Low-Profile Delineator (LPD) was designed to provide airports and heliports with a more substantial alternative to lightweight markers such as cones or delineator posts. An attention-grabbing bright orange and wrapped in high-intensity orange and white reflective sheeting, the AR3 is a highly visible hazard indicator for both pilots and ground workers.

Description

Rotationally molded with UV-resistant HDPE, the LPD is engineered to perfection. While the walls are of uniform thickness, the thicker corners promote product strength and integrity, giving you a barricade you can be confident in. Weighing in at 5 pounds empty, it’s easy to deploy and retrieve, yet, ballasted with water, a single delineator can weigh up to 45 pounds. This makes each highly resistant to surface winds, jet blast, prop wash, and inclement weather.

Identify and mark hazardous construction zones with ease, or lean into the versatility of this small but mighty barricade: indicate temporary parking aprons for small general aviation aircraft, identify equipment, and more. To further boost visibility, it can be outfitted with one optional 360-degree solar hazard light and/or one hazard flag.

The LPD meets all FAA and Military Specification requirements. Our unique design is 100% FOD-free and frangible, meaning it’s designed to break into pieces upon impact. This ensures that the low-profile delineator will not impede the motion of an aircraft in the case of an incident.
