OTW Safety Quarterly Newsletter

A New Season Brings New News!
OTW Safety has had a busy summer and, with fall just around the corner, it’s time to catch up on everything that happened this past quarter!
But before we say goodbye to summer…
Don’t Miss OTW’s Summer Sale!
It’s that time of year… back to school has arrived, and our annual end-of-summer sale is in full swing! Take advantage of up to 15% savings on your favorite school barricades, the Billboard Barricade. Perfect for creating queues, directing guests, defining sports areas, and more, OTW school barricades are a perfect match for any school or university (or even daycare!) looking to enhance their campus safety. Don’t miss it!
Have you entered our Photo & Video Contest yet?
YOU COULD WIN $1000! 👀
Every year, we eagerly await our annual OTW Photo and Video Contest, as we love seeing snaps of our barricades in action.
With two grand prizes – one each in the categories Crowd Control and Airport & Construction – don’t miss out on this opportunity to win big! Entries are unlimited, so send us your best photos and videos of OTW airport, construction, and crowd control barricades now through the end of October. Don’t forget to share the contest with your friends, family, and colleagues, too – and if you attend a university or work on staff at a school, share it with students and faculty alike. There’s a chance for anyone to win!
If you’re feeling happy with your OTW barricades, we’d love to see a Google review* from you, too (*not a condition of the contest, just helpful for us to see what we’re doing well and how we can continue to innovate and improve)!
Our winners will be announced in November, so submit your entries today!
Q3 Events and Sponsorships
At OTW Safety, we take pride in supporting and cheering on our community through sponsorships and at various events.
The X Games (not sponsored) purchased 120 OTW 42” LCD Barricades for their annual games this year, using the orange LCDs as BMX and Moto X dirt course perimeters, and using the white LCDs as parking lot entrance lanes. The 42” LCD barricades are perfect for this type of event, as their height makes them both incredibly sturdy and easy enough to see over from a spectator’s area. They are also certified for TL-3 speeds in crash testing, and the plastic material and FWHA-compliant design help ensure that the impact of any bumps or collisions is minimized.
RockStock (sponsored) with the Nation’s Best Tribute Bands, was sent 208 gorgeous yellow Billboard Barricades to surround the perimeter of their lawn seating area, separate the crowd from the stage, and to section off home plate for food trucks and vendors. Check out the video below!
Metcon Rush (sponsored) in Hagerston, MD, used the 30 additional black Billboard Barricades we sent to line their competition mats with pedestrian barricades as the perfect separator between athletes and spectators. They didn’t have to worry about scratched floors or fear anyone leaning on the barricades, as they are durable, sturdy, and gentle on indoor floors!

Stacking September with Back to Back Sponsorships!?
We’re all about supporting communities at OTW Safety, and we are honored to be able to sponsor events across the nation throughout the year. Our most recent sponsored events are fun ones!
Helena Septemberfest
The Helena Septemberfest Soapbox Derby ran September 12-14 in Helena, Montana. A partially sponsored event, they received our orange and white 24” mid-profile karting barricades, and we added on 30 Billboard Barricades and 30 custom signs as part of our sponsorship.
OTW Billboard Barricades were used as crowd control measures throughout the event. The custom signage we provided easily attached to each crowd barrier and highlighted the sponsors who helped make the event happen. The mid-profile karting barricades lined the track Saturday afternoon for the Soapbox race and we were really excited to see them in action!
Flutie 5K Fundraiser for Autism
That same weekend on September 13, 2025, the 2025 Flutie 5K for Autism in Sugarhouse, Utah, also took place! This was an exciting local event that we were honored to be a part of. We provided the event with 60 white Billboard Barricades and 15 custom signs to help guide guests and highlight sponsors. Our barricades were used along the finish line to display sponsors and direct runners!
Proceeds from the event will go to the Autism Solutions Academy (an organization we’re happy to support once more, like we did for the Inclusion Matters Gala in 2024).
Until Next Time…
As we close our newsletter, please know that OTW is dedicated to providing and supporting safe spaces wherever possible. We hope that, in light of recent events, you are finding the support and care you need. Thank you.
