OTW Safety in 2025: A Year in Review

As with every year, OTW Safety strove for innovation and growth in 2025. We had some big plans and even bigger dreams, and we worked hard to make those a reality. We continued to embrace our values, and we partnered with customers all over the world who were seeking safer, more effective safety solutions for their events, construction sites, and more.

Here’s our last year in review!

We connected with our community through sponsorship and fun

We had the honor of sponsoring over half a dozen events in 2025. We love being able to sponsor events and help ensure safety at every type of event, work zone, or school (and more), so we are honored when businesses and organizations choose to partner with us. OTW supported the local Salt Lake community, as well as communities across the United States, and provided barricades and/or safety products to:

While our site visits were fewer in number this year, we still managed to visit or get photos of the events where our barricades were featured (like the sponsorships above), as well as various conferences and other events that have chosen to purchase OTW barricades over the years. Noteworthy happenings at OTW in 2025

This year, we were able to fulfill a different kind of need for our customers by setting up our e-commerce page – which can be found in our main menu – the Quick Shop! When you need lower quantities or a quick shipment of barricades or safety equipment, you can place an order right on our site. These are orders that can be shipped quickly on LTL or FedEx parcel shipments and will make it to your door fast. (Larger orders that qualify for quantity discounts and require shipping via FTL’s full truckloads can still be placed by calling our team or requesting a quote online.) 

We always want to provide the best possible experience and the best pricing for our customers, so we expanded the ways in which an OTW order can be made. The e-commerce site currently consists of our best sellers and core products, but we look forward to expanding inventory and what is available in the coming year!   

This was a year for bestsellers:

This year was a great year for the 42” Jersey Shape LCD Barricade (OTW42), which sold the most units in 2025. The race was close with our former top contender, the 10” Low-Profile Airport Barricade, but the OTW42 just beat it out this year! We provided OTW42 barricades for several major data center projects this year, supporting their technology infrastructure. We pride ourselves on continuing to grow with our customers, and we are proud to be a part of this growing sector!

• Number 3: the Airport Hazard Light (AHL)
• Number 4:our tried-and-true Billboard Barricade (CC42x96) 

The OTW Safety family got bigger!

This year, we welcomed over 100 companies to the OTW family as customers. As a worker-owned company and manufacturer, we pride ourselves on being able to work with small businesses and schools, as well as international prime contractors. We provide the same excellent service and direct-from-manufacturer pricing to anyone who calls in or requests a quote, and our barricades are used by companies, both large and small, all over the world. 

One customer, in particular, wanted a small order of red airport barricades. Because we are a small manufacturer and can create custom colored barricades (with a minimum order), we were able to fulfill this custom request and support Olympic Aviation with one of their clients, and we’re so pleased to have been able to do so! 

We launched one new product this year – the Bi-Directional Hazard Light (BDL) – and we’re really proud of this one. The BDL is the best iteration on the market of the traditional hazard light, and it supports work zones everywhere with its bright LEDs in Amber Yellow or Red. Its improved battery life and solar efficiency also make an incredible difference in the number of hours it can be used (a full battery charge operates for 120+ hours flashing and 72+ hours steady), ensuring that your work zones have proper hazard indication the entire time crews are on site.  

We also created another accessory product in 2025, ready to launch when 2026 rolls around… our new Replacement Drain Plug! We work with regional integrators that commonly rent out their equipment, and we know that sometimes those who rent can misplace their caps or strip the threading on accident. We always aim to respond to our customers’ needs, and noticed that there was no real way to extend the life of the barricade if the plug had been damaged, so the Replacement Drain Plug was created with this need in mind! Our barricades are of the highest quality, and we don’t believe that an entire barricade should have to be replaced simply because the drain cap or drain hole has been compromised. With the new replacement plug, this solves both issues… and we made it compatible with ALL our barricades.

 We’re hoping to launch these on our site in early 2026, so keep an eye out for more details!

What’s In Store for 2026?

We continue to press forward and innovate every year, and 2026 will be no different. We’re really excited about the things we have in development and the opportunities we’ll be able to take part in over the next year.

We’re looking forward to getting our barricades into the hands that need them at construction sites, events, and more in 2026. Among those work sites, we’re thrilled to be able to partner with contractors and businesses for large-scale needs – we are happy to provide continued support for large-scale projects like data centers (these often require 14-20 truckloads of barricades per order) and help ensure a safe and secure work zone at every phase of construction.
