OTW Safety at Night on Commonwealth
Summer is event season at OTW Safety. Just down the street from our offices at Night on Commonwealth there were live local bands, beat boy dancers, artists selling their wares, food trucks and of course, a bar with wine, beer, and Dented Brick Distillery cocktails! Our colorful crowd barricades and signage were put to good use and looked great, keeping people safe and highlighting the generous sponsors of the South Salt Lake Arts Council.
Night on Commonwealth is an annual free event hosted by the SSL Arts Council and features all kinds of art and entertainment. The goal is to promote local artists and foster a creative community – OTW was proud to sponsor and attend the event for the second year in a row. We worked with the director of the SSL Arts Council, Lesly Allen, to provide crowd control barriers and custom signs.
Our plastic barricades create such an inviting atmosphere at events like these, especially when they are paired with sponsor logos or informational signs. When operating budgets are based on donation it’s great to have a platform to showcase the supporters of these fun community events.
“The mission of the South Salt Lake Arts Council is to unite our community through art. We strive to support local artists, provide engaging opportunities for our residents to participate in the arts, contribute to our city’s economic development by generating awareness about our existing cultural assets, and foster creative approaches to innovative growth that will remain true to the craftsman and industrial character of South Salt Lake.”
