Our approach is comprehensive, considering the needs and desires of event producers, participants, sponsors, attendees, and stakeholders. No matter the size of your event, we can walk you through all of the details from permits to insurance.
What Services do we Offer?
We take the long view when partnering with festivals and events. Not only do we provide event barricades and custom signs, we also offer insight, logistical support, and marketing ideas to help expand your audience and increase your sponsorship revenue.
Planning for an event or festival often starts nine months or more in advance. In fact, we generally find ourselves starting to plan for the next year while the current event is still happening! Pre-planning production services may include:
Pre-Event Production Services
The plan’s foundation is always the site map. It sounds simple but initially you need an aerial view of the site you’re working with and then a sketch of how that area will be enclosed. Not only does this establish how many barricades you’ll need, it also gives a clear understanding of the layout and how to create a good flow of foot traffic through the space.
Developing a comprehensive site map allows us to create a security plan, road closure plan, emergency plan & incident action plan, as well as credential checkpoint(s).
Our production services can also include evaluation of first aid needs and hiring of first aid team, coordination of rental equipment and services, development of a production schedule, arranging signage needs, and more.
Once foundational plans are established and a site map is in place, designing the venue and making use of available resources becomes the focus. Through every step of the pre-event planning process, you’ll work closely with our events director to ensure the design meets their logistical needs and promotes the best overall experience for the participants and attendees.
Pre-Event Security Preparation
We are here for in-depth, pre-event security consulting. From crowd, pedestrian, and traffic management to risk assessments and incident action plans – we’ve got your back.
Our pre-planning: security service includes but is not limited to: pre-event consulting, crowd management planning, pedestrian management planning, traffic management planning, mag & bag operational planning, in-depth emergency safety & security plans – Emergency Information Guide (EIG), incident action plan, and risk assessments.
When your event day comes, everything has to be in place for your event to run smoothly. Water, ice, communication equipment, sound systems, trash bins, recycling services, toilets and first aid supplies are must-haves. We have fostered relationships with a variety of reliable service providers to get these items lined up and delivered to you at the right price.
On-site, we will oversee your safety and security staff, coordinate all on-site vendors, execute the production schedule, and manage ‘coordinators’ over each program area.
Stake & Strike
When it’s time to stake the site, our team gets the event space ready for action. Following the site map, we place all the stages, toilets, barricades with sponsor signs, trash and recycling cans, tables, and set up food and beverage areas.
During the event, we manage food and water stations for volunteers, ensure equipment works properly, and assist with coordinating event and security personnel. When the event closes, we strike all of the barricades and signs and coordinate pick-up with equipment providers.
With OTW Production Services, you don’t have to worry about special events personnel, like credential checkers, ticket takers, ushers, and bag searchers. Coordination of event personnel and control of the command center all falls within our expertise.
Our goal is to take all of the stress of operations off your plate so you can sit back and enjoy your well-planned event.
What OTW products can I rent for my event?
Think about the amount of display space you would gain if you could advertise along the entire perimeter of your event.
If you happen to be utilizing 200 OTW barricades, you’ve got 1,425 square feet of available advertising space! You’d be surprised just how valuable that real estate is to sponsors.
The billboard barricade is our most popular solution for any type of event. These event barriers are colorful, sturdy, and interlock for increased stability. They also feature display panels that support 36” x 29.5” custom printed signs. These are often used to advertise future events or recognize sponsors.
Adaptable to all of our barricades, this kit ensures the seamless integration of a pedestrian or vehicle gate at any point along a line of our barricades. Temporary Entry Control Points or temporary site access points pose security and safety challenges, the Vehicle and Pedestrian Gate Adapter helps address these challenges with a flexible solution for all stakeholders.
Our vertical panel is designed to tolerate impact from motorized vehicles. Also referred to as a traffic sign or portable information system, the vertical panel features a bright orange design along with high-intensity prismatic reflective stripes for both day and night usage. Reflective sheeting permits centerline traffic deployment in most jurisdictions.
The vertical panel, also referred to as a vertical channelizer, is great for delineating parking areas in large fields and parking lots. The 20.5 lb. rubber base will ensure they stay put on any terrain.
For an even sturdier line of event barricades, our Jersey Shape LCD barricades can be used for events that require more substantial delineation. Empty they weigh 80 pounds each but ballasted with water they can weigh up to 1,330 pounds. For added privacy or security, fence panels can be also be attached to the event barriers.
